Monday, April 21st: Progress check over work so far. Work day in class. Johnny Cash Posters DUE!
Monday, April 21st at 5:30 / Johnny Cash Poster Judging (just so you know)
Wednesday, April 23rd: Pre-Crit. Bring in print outs and materials.
Monday, April 28th: First Final Meeting Time from NOON to 3 pm. FINAL CRIT!
Tuesday, April 29th: Second Final Meeting Time from NOON to 3 pm. Final Project with revisions DUE!

Today we are going to have Susan Rensing from the Gender Studies department at Mississippi State come and speak to you about their speaker Vanita Gupta and about Women's History Month. Have questions ready! This is your chance to get information and ideas for your poster.

Print Production: Promote the MSU graphic design department!

For your last assignment you will be creating a poster advertising the graphic design department at mississippi state. The winning design will be printed at the MSU print shop during the week before finals week. You will be required to use the caad logo and the msstate logo.

Poster size: 17"x13" (you may choose to arrange your poster horizontal or vertical) layout in Illustrator in which to place and design your work; create a 1/8 inch bleed. Max paper size is 13 3/8 x 18 1/8

Monday, November 12th: Paper Lecture and handouts/ Start sketches for MSU GD poster
Wednesday, November 14th: David from MAC papers in Birmingham will be here to talk about paper and handout samples...wheee!
Friday, November 16th: Workday on posters. Review thumbnails and concepts.

Monday, November 26th: Pre-Crit on Posters
